FLOWERS FOR MY LIFE
Kkot Chateuleo Wassdanda

SYNOPSIS: Ho-sang lives by the day and has no dream of being successful. But when he pretended to switch places with a wealthy but unhappy man, his life changed. The rich man died while trying to save a child in a demolition. And since nobody knew what he and Ho-sang agreed on, people thought that it was the real Ho-sang who did the sacrificial act.

Ho-sang became an instant millionaire and hero but at the expense of his identity. In order to give good life and memory to his family, he decided not to reveal the truth. But after Hana found out that he is rich, she basically threw herself to him. She even introduced him as her fiancée even if his heart admires Nam-kyung.

It was a chaotic relationship at first but eventually, Ho-sang gets to appreciate the blessings Hana has brought him. He got himself an instant family and a new life. Ironically, he was able to understand the depth of life through the family's business, funeral service.

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: SPOILER ALERT :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Ho-sang found out that he is terminally ill. He does not want to be a burden to Hana's family so he ran away. But when Hana realized that he wants him not because of the money, she persuaded Ho-sang to come back to her side and helped him get through the hardship.

REVIEWS: Everytime I see Cha Tae-hyun and Kang Hye-jung together, I see chemistry between them. Their scenes are funny because their personality fits them. It's like, it was written just for them and was delivered naturally until the end.

The story was kind of "over-used" but I still liked how they showed the "life after death". It's dramatic and touching. There are a lot of good insights too. It also showed how solemn and important Korean's traditional funeral is. I'm starting to understand more and more about their culture in this series.

What I don't understand is how Hana can communicate with her Vietnamese friend. Actually, having to have a friend with different nationality proves that culture doesn't matter when it comes to friendship. Sometimes, people you least expected understand you more. Maybe this is what they are trying to imply.
