MODERN HOUSEWIVES
Hyeonmoyangcheo

SYNOPSIS: Gook-hee represents a typical housewife. She puts her family first before her own happiness. But for her husband, Myung-pil, her sacrifices weren't good enough. He thought that she doesn't have any dreams to be successful in life and finds his marriage miserable and boring.

Tae-ran, a family friend, was the opposite of Gook-hee. Myung-pil thought that he'd be happier with her so they had a secret affair. Gook-hee found and tried to save their marriage but Myung-pil chose Tae-ran over her. Gook-hee got devastated and felt alone but her friends helped her get by.

REVIEWS: It's funny and interesting. I actually find it cute. The comedy seems natural. It's also inspiring especially when Gook-hee became successful in her own little way.

I like it when there are fewer episodes and yet, the story is not rushed.

Kim Ho-jin was hysterical with his weird facial expression and pineapple hair-do. Kang Sung-yun did her thing too. Her scenes with the other "housewives" are hilarious.
