SYNOPSIS: In fulfillment of his promise to his dying father, Oh-sung continued managing their family-owned facility for terminally ill patients. As the doctor, he led his team in showing optimism to people who would like to have a memorable remaining life. He hasn't lost hope in bringing out a smile in them.

Oh-sung had a chance meeting with the upbeat Young-joo. She immediately felt comfortable with him and became friends. But surprisingly, the truth behind those cheerful eyes is despair of a dying woman. Young-joo has an incurable stomach cancer.

What is more painful than dying is living while anticipating death. It requires so much faith and courage. Even if Young-joo is in the verge of giving up, she has found strength in Oh-sung and entrusted her life into his hands. Despite of what the future holds, they still gave in to what their hearts dictate.

REVIEWS: Two thumbs up on Eun-joo and Jae-wook's dramatic portrayal. Both have given you enough reasons to like the movie. They have such powerful characters and evidently, they were able to give justice to it.

Having a predictable ending is not a disappointing factor. Ironically, the more I know about Young-joo's condition, the more it gives me sadness. Her dedication to live kills me knowing that, sooner or later, dreams of given a second chance is unreachable. Just looking at her eyes gives me the chills. For Oh-sung, I pity him too. Seeing your love one die gradually is a more painful sight. He couldn't really show his own emotions because Young-joo gets her strength from him. And being in a place that reminds you more of death is harder to endure.
