REVIEWS:
KOREANCRAZEE Hyun-bin
has finally given a chance to prove himself outside the "SAM-SOON"
box. Although his character in the movie is not too different
from the one in the series, he still was able to make it work.
From being arrogant to being romantic, the character transition
is worth watching for.
Being in a situation where you have no control made it more
dramatic. But even if it's a nice film, the flow of the story
kind of made the ending too obvious. There couldn't be a better
way to do it, but on a personal note, it would be better if
there were some twist or surprises before the final blow to
get your mind off from what's really going to happen.
There are a lot of romantic scenes too but the most touching
one is where he gave this "pill" to Yoo-seon. She
cried like there is no tomorrow (hmmm). I can't help but weep
with her too. I pity her situation but envy her strength.
I liked the first two minutes of the opening credits. It
basically is the preview of how the movie will turn out to
be. The characters were introduced uniquely and yet, not too
dragging. They have made quite a remarkable impression.
MARCI First off I have
to say that Hyun Bin's acting just keeps getting better. His
characters arrogance wasn't really anything different, but
once it hit the touching scenes he was great! Ham Yoo-seon
was also very impressive in this film. My only real complaint
is that they really didn't get into Jae Kyung's storyline
much. They briefly touched on his sad past and the loss of
his parents, but I felt they could have done more. This movie
was very touching though. I was crying for about the last
half hour. So, for those who hate crying at movies, I don't
recommend this, but if you don't care, go see it. Overall
it's very heartwarming.
